Fourth Grade Summer Reading Assignment
During the summer all incoming 4th graders are strongly encouraged to read the two books listed as well as do activity sheets provided at the end of the school year. Additional activity sheets may be obtained at the office over the summer. During the first week of school the children will discuss these books in their Reading classes and take an Accelerated Reader test on these books.
It is always a good idea to choose a specific time and place for reading . Make it a special time. We get better at reading by reading.
